I'm Gabriel, but most people call me Gabe.
Storyboarding is my favorite part of the animation pipeline, it's the bridge between script and animation. Storyboarding is also an amazing mental exercise, like a puzzle, trying to marry the script, designs, and visuals to create an amazing story. Some of my favorite genres are Action Adventure, Supernatural Mysteries, Family Comedy, and Sci-Fi. It's always fun to storyboard stories like this as they have a good balance of suspense, comedy, and eye-catching action.
I have previously worked at Dreamworks TVA and Studio Smokescreen.
My Story
I was born in Chicago, IL but grew up all over. My family never stayed in one place for very long, but our travels allowed me to develop a deep love for the many diverse cultures I was fortunate enough to meet along the way. Storytelling is something I noticed everyone loves to be a part of and I knew then what I wanted to be.
In my free time, you can find me watching new cartoons, making comics for fun, playing Gundam games, or exploring my area looking for new restaurants. I love learning about new ideas and cultures around the dinner table, especially if there is cheese.
